William T. (Toby) Smith has been admitted as a Shareholder of Trinity Accounting Group

January 1, 2008 - Athens, Georgia, USA: Trinity Accounting Group announces William T. (Toby) Smith has been admitted as a new shareholder.

Since joining the firm in 2005, Toby has served as the Director of Financial Reporting and Assurance Services. He will continue in this position and, as of December 1, 2007, began taking an active role on the Executive Committee joining exisiting shareholders Robert Bachman, Scott Saucier and Tom Scott.

Prior to joining Trinity Accounting Group, Toby worked at the Atlanta office of super-regional firm Dixon Hughes, PLLC, as an Audit Manager. He possesses extensive experience with Audits, Reviews, Due Diligence, Internal Audit, and other Agreed Upon Procedures. In addition to all areas of attestation, compliance, litigation support, and consulting, Toby specializes in Automotive Accounting, Mergers and Acquisitions Assistance, Internal Controls Consulting, and Litigation Support.

Toby graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Business Administration and is a member of the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts, and the Institute of Internal Auditors. Toby is also a member of the Touchdown Club of Athens and the UGA Alumni Association. He is an alumnus of L.E.A.D. Athens and Leadership Forsyth.

In addition to his Executive Committee membership, within the firm Toby serves on the Practice Development and Technology Commitees. Toby lives in Watkinsville with his wife, Hollie, and their two children.
